Cristiano Ronaldo’s football trophies on display at the Portugal Pavilion until the end of the Expo
The Portugal Pavilion invites all football fans to an exclusive exhibit featuring some of the trophies conquered by Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese football star.
Until March 31st, visitors are invited to get an up-close look at two of Ronaldo’s iconic trophies: the Champions League and Premier League cups, both won during his 2007-08 season at Manchester United.
Courtesy of the CR7 Museum, the exhibit is part of a thematic week at the Portugal Pavilion dedicated to the Madeira Islands, a Portuguese archipelago located in the north Atlantic Ocean and the birthplace of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Until Sunday, March 6, visitors were greeted by Madeirans dressed in traditional costumes and some of the island’s most exotic flowers. You can still taste Madeira’s flavours and cuisine at the pavilion’s restaurant Al-Lusitano.
