The Portugal Pavilion hosted today a seminar, under the theme “Innovation & Entrepreneurship | Synergies between the EU and the United Arab Emirates”, in partnership with SPI – Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação.

The event brought together several world speakers from European and UAE organizations to work and accelerate action in the areas of innovation, technology and entrepreneurship. It also served to showcase Dubai’s full potential in terms of innovation and Europe’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, with the aim of exploring synergies between the EU and the UAE.

Sara Medina, SPI administrator, moderated the panel discussion, which included the participation of Hans Henrik Christensen, Vice President of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority; Ali Abuzinjal, Director of Digital Transformation at Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park; and Sailesh Nathan, founder of Diplomats Summit UK.
