Looking back on Portuguese Jewellery Week – in pictures
From 19-25 February, the Portugal Pavilion welcomed visitors to Portuguese Jewellery Week, which saw the launch of a new global campaign promoted by AORP – Portuguese Jewellery and Watchmaking Association and an exclusive collection under the name ‘Crossings’.
Inspired by the “Sea”, AORP’s exhibition featured an eclectic jewellery collection, which was the result of a co-creation between five manufacturers and five prominent Portuguese personalities in the areas of Art, Culture and Sport:
- Blaya (artista musical) x Juliana Bezerra
- Gustavo Ribeiro (skater) x Mesh Jewellery
- Gaspar Valera (guitarrista) x Farilu
- Jéssica Pina (cantora e trompetista) x Tavares 1922
- Rafael Morais (actor) x Magajoias
The goal of this thematic week was to demonstrate the rich culture and tradition of Portugal, and to support Portuguese companies in transitioning to the digital environment and Industry 4.0.
