Students lead conversation on work-life balance at the Portugal Pavilion

As part of Expo’s Health & Wellness Week, the Portugal Pavilion hosted another edition of the Next Generation World Majlis Programme yesterday, 2 February, in collaboration with the Expo 2020 School Programme. 

 

The session “A Good Place to Work: Balancing Personal and Professional Lives”, which took place in the amphitheatre of the Portugal Pavilion, brought together students from around the UAE, who shared their insights on balancing personal and professional lives, and whether employers should further embed health and wellbeing in corporate policy.

 

Moderated by storyteller and entertainer Lara Matossian, the debate featured eight young speakers, and re-opened the question of how we design working life and future workplaces. Scroll through the gallery:
