Freixo de Espada à Cinta & Douro Superior days

The Douro Superior Municipalities, located in the interior of Portugal, have a particular and distinct physical and human characteristics, defining themselves as a sub-region that reflects landscape and cultural diversity and it is, without a doubt, a territory that can be seen and enjoyed as a unique and singular territory.

Here we find Freixo de Espada à Cinta, Torre de Moncorvo and Carrazeda de Ansiães Municpalities, as a culturally, beauty and gastronomically rich territories, which make them a tourist destination of excellence, worthwhile visiting in Portugal.

It is in this connection that the event “ Freixo de Espada à Cinta & Douro Superior Days”, taking place from 12-13 February, will share with the world the potential of this region with special emphasis on natural and handmade silk products, as well the region's endogenous wines and delicacies.
