Conference | The importance of Portuguese culture and know-how: Design and traditional techniques

Speakers
MÓNICA PINTO | Born in northern Spain, Galicia, Mónica spent most of her childhood between Spain and Portugal. She graduated in Fine Arts, Decorative Painting, Restoration, Faux-Effects and Fresco in the Ricardo Espírito Santo Foundation, in the School of Restoration and Recovery of Heritage and Design in the National Society of Fine Arts. This was the beginning of her journey into the world of Art and Design, founding her own atelier in 1997 in Sintra, Lisbon. Driven by her own vision and passion, in 2016 she launched her own brand MOKKI Design, where her memories are an integral part of her imagery. The duality of her Portuguese and Spanish heritage is always present in her work.

Have completed his degree, André started working with several luxury design furniture brands, such as Boca do Lobo, Koket and other Oporto based companies. Three years later, he founded André Teoman Studio, producing objects, concepts and experiences with his own clever twist.
