Portuguese football stars Rúben Dias, from Manchester City, and Diogo Dalot, from Manchester United, paid a special visit to the Portugal Pavilion this Wednesday while touring the site of Expo 2020 Dubai.

Considered one of the best defenders in the world, Rúben Dias met with Manuel Couto Miranda, Director of the Portugal Pavilion, who led him on a guided tour through the exhibition.

The Portugal international, who was accompanied by the club’s press team, signed the Pavilion’s Book of Honour, and said it was a “great pleasure to see our culture represented in such a special way so far from home”. To mark the occasion, he offered a signed shirt to the Portugal Pavilion team.

Also on Wednesday, Manchester United player Diogo Dalot honoured the Portugal Pavilion, where he had the opportunity to explore the Portuguese exhibition and sign the Pavilion’s Book of Honour.
