We’ve all heard of robotics, virtual reality and augmented reality, but what can they really offer and how do they work? From 17-21 October, the Portugal Pavilion will host Information Technologies Week to present innovative solutions from leading Portuguese companies and to promote the country as one of the top European tech hubs.

The Portugal Pavilion will host a seminar together with the
National Association of Information Technology and Electronics Companies (ANETIE), to showcase Portuguese talent in the IT sector. The event is aimed at local tech companies, decision makers and influencers interested in business and technology, and will feature speeches from José Pedro Salas Pires, ANETIE President; Daniel Pontes, AICEP delegate; and Portuguese companies operating in the UAE, who will share their experiences of entry into foreign markets. The event will also include a special guest performance by the most awarded Portuguese magician, Luís de Matos, whose show will be livestreamed via Zoom. The seminar will be followed by a networking cocktail with local partners.
